This is one of the many programs we did in conjunction with Creative Vision. This was a very nice program and there was some fantastic photography. The market for this program and others we did for Creative Vision was a gift shop item, sold to tourists. After cutting our teeth on thiese programs, we decided to do more serious PBS types of documentaries that delved into the history behind the scenes. This Wyoming program got us going with our other Yellowstone programs and Devil's Tower.

Utilizing a live seminar by Rod Meldrum,, we added graphics and special effects to spice up a long, (3 1/2 hour), presentation on new DNA evidence that some eastern tribes of American Indians share genes with people from the Palestinian area. Very interesting stuff.

In 2000, when this was produced for Evans and Sutherland this was the cutting edge of DVD production. It cost over 250,000 dollars and had over 200 videos and/or graphic elements which were triggered by a click of the remote. The videos were all produced by Ray Balhorn utilizing the latest state-of-the-art computer graphics systems. This program won a "Golden Spike" award for best use of a DVD in a public relations campaign. It was also written up in "TV Technology" magazine.

We captured a lot of exsquisite shots when we did the "Exodus from Yellowstone" program, so we went back the next winter and got lots of footage of the ulltimate snowmobiling experience. They've since cut back dramatically as to where you can go with your snowmobile in Yellowstone and may ban snowmobiling there all together.
